Women’s Psychiatry in Ohio
Specialized Psychiatric Care for Women Navigating Mental Health and Life-Stage Transitions
Whether you’re trying to conceive, raising young kids, navigating menopause, or somewhere in between, we’ll help you start feeling like you again.
Most women who come to us have been holding in a lot, for a long time.
Your first visit is simply a conversation where you can talk openly, feel understood, and begin to make sense of what’s been going on. We'll listen with care, and build a full picture of the whole you: your hormones, history, and how you’ve been coping through this hard season.
From there, we'll answer your questions and map out next steps. You'll leave feeling in control, with a psychiatric treatment plan built just for you, and relief that you don’t have to keep doing this alone.

Integrative psychiatry, sometimes called holistic psychiatry, sits between modern western medicine and functional medicine. We review lab results to determine whether any supplements could be beneficial for you. All aspects of your life that could be impacting your mental health are part of the conversation. Brief psychotherapy is built into our medication management appointments, which is different from the ongoing therapy provided by a therapist. Our goal is to help you feel better and reach a level of functioning you're happy with, and we won't stop until we get there. We also bring our own lived experiences to this work, which lets us relate to patients in a way other providers sometimes can't.
-
That’s completely okay. You don’t need to have the right words. We’ll help guide the conversation.
-
That’s welcome here. You don’t have to hold it together during your visit.
-
Not at all. We’ll talk through options together and make decisions collaboratively, based on what feels right for you.
Do I need to prepare anything?
No. If it helps, you can bring notes or questions, but it’s just as okay to come as you are.

Since we specialize in reproductive psychiatry and perinatal psychiatry, we’re trained specifically in medication management during pregnancy and postpartum in a way most OB-GYNs and PCPs aren't. We also spend more time with you than a traditional visit allows, which means we really get to know you and how to help. Virtual visits add an extra layer of convenience for patients balancing busy schedules.
